In Cordi Jesu, around 40 of our Egyptian Confreres family members had a gathering in order to pray and know more about the mission.
On the 2nd of May, took place the celebration with the family members of Egyptians Comboni missionaries. After the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Mary Magdelene went to the tomb and didn’t the Lord, but instead she saw a young man who told her: But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you into Galilee. There you shall see him, just as he told you. Mc 16, 7. According to some theologians, Galilee is our home place, it is our ordinary activities and it is our families. In the same way, after our Easter celebration, The Comboni Missionaries in Egypt have organized that socialization day. It was a nice moment together.
As any important moment, we have started by the pray. It was a Coptic Mass presided by Father Mina Anwar, concelebrated by Father Diego, the provincial Superior, Father Mina Albeer, Father Sobhi and other confreres. The Mass intention was for the mission and for the family members of the Comboni Missionaries in the world. After the Mass, Father Mina Albeer had shared his missionary experience with our family members and helped them to understand a bit about the Comboni Missionary Service around the world. It was a nice moment of having an idea about the richness of religious live. On another hand, it has been an occasion of exchanging among the different families and among the family members and the Comboni Priest who were present. The day finished by a fraternal Agape. May God all the family members of those who have consecrated their lives to the Lord and to his Mission.
