In an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration, the parish of St. Paul the Apostle in the city of Kosti marked the installation and appointment of its new pastor, Fr. Alessandro Bedin, a member of the Comboni Missionaries. The ceremony was presided over by His Grace Bishop Daniel Abouaq, who formally entrusted the pastoral responsibilities to Fr. Alessandro, in the presence of a large number of faithful who joined in this special spiritual occasion.
During the celebration, Bishop Daniel delivered a heartfelt speech emphasizing the vital role of the priest in the life of the parish, highlighting his pastoral mission to accompany and strengthen the faithful on their journey of faith through the sacred sacraments and dedicated service to the Church.
Fr. Alessandro, in turn, pledged to serve the Church with faithfulness and sincerity, committed to the teachings of the Catholic faith and obedient to his superiors according to Canon Law. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Bishop Daniel handed Fr. Alessandro the key to the Tabernacle, symbolizing the official beginning of his pastoral service in St. Paul the Apostle Parish.
